The beginning of a New Lifestyle

School has begun!  And brains are being nourished!  What a privilege it is to be at this extraordinary school with like minded students!  This week has been the start to living new in Christ.  The students and faculty have been such a blessing.  They are all about the Great Commission!

The Great Commission

16 But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 [e]Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you [f]always, even to the end of the age.”  Matthew 28:16-20

and Jesus is specific;

5 These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them: “Do not [f]go [g]in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans; 6 but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 And as you go, [h]preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven [i]is at hand.’ 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.  Matthew 10:5-8

This week has been a week of refreshing; of just being with God and allowing Him to love on me.  Just being open to him and what He has for me.  I have been praying for boldness, boldness to go out into the community and to share Jesus.  Praise God the day came when all fear was gone and ministry begun.  It was this Thursday.  I went out for my usual run after class.  Decided to run into downtown and I made it a block and I sensed now was the time....now was the time to start to live in boldness to start praying with strangers.  I came upon a man who was walking a little tipsy. I said " Hey there, got a quick question for ya, may I pray with you."  the man said yes and so I just prayed blessin upon him and that the Lord would draw near.  Then after running a block I ran into a man who seemed really sad, so we talked and he told me his story.  We prayed and then I ran 15 steps and had the privilege of praying with a security guard.  It was definitely Gods start in me for ministry!  I Praise God for this privilege to be used by Him.  Last night I was sitting outside on the steps as people walked by I just sensed I should start talking to them and praying with them.  Another 3 people I and another student got to pray for!  2 of which we spent an hr with and became friends and got to hear their story!  Praise God!  All this to say, The Lord is continually answering prayer and continually preparing me for full time ministry.  Tho I struggle financially I put it in His hands and I am praying for the $2,700 to come in for school.  Looking forward to the Baltimore mission trip in a month!  We will be hitting the streets praying and spending time with those who live there.  We will also have fun at the hotel and going to at least one fancy Brazilian restaurant where they serve you till your stuffed!  :)  Those going to minister in Brazil at the same time will be eating like that the whole time they are there because that's the kind of food they have in Brazil. I can not explain in words how Papa God is just blowing my mind and emotions.  I have joy and peace here!  I pray that you find him and draw closer to Him as he awaits for you with His arms wide open. He awaits for you to embrace you as a son or daughter.  Amen... PS: Now taught myself Praise God how to play on the real set of drums! Auditions to be on the worship team are Sept. 11.....

Pinch me am i awake

From time to time I wonder why do I do what I do... Why am I working 3 jobs... Why am I awake when I should be sleeping..hahaha...  Then it all comes back to one word, "GOD".
After 7 days straight of working 11-15 hr overnights it hit me as I tried to stay awake while you were all in the comforts of your beds.  While I was up keeping watch, staying awake and safe from any bad guys that come into the building.  It hit me that I am here for a reason.  No bad guy is going to take me down.  I did not drive 24 hrs. directed by God to just die in a department store there is much more that God has for me and much more that God has in store for you as well.

"Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

We all have a purpose the question is the question I had to ask myself in Nov. 2012...Am I going to continue to live my life the same way I have always done it just because I have always done it this way; moving job to job to job... you get the picture... if you know me you Really get the picture.
I finally said, Enough is enough and No to living a regular life.  Yes, to living a irregular un-natural to the human eye kind of life.  I am ready to continue what God has started in me; using His spiritual gifts to bring the kingdom of heaven onto earth.  Looking forward to class starting Sept. 4th!!!!!!! Praise God for he is good and his love endures forever....
Amen.

Matthew 10:7-9

New International Version (NIV)
7 "As you go, proclaim this message: ‘The kingdom of heaven has come near.’ 8 Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy,[a] drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give."

Oct. 10th-15th I and classmates of mine will be heading to Baltimore to raid the streets for God.  We will get to be used by God to do just that, what the scripture says above!  I look forward to see God work in and thru us.  (No I will not be going to Brazil but im like Paul I am content in all things..)

Blessins goodnight,

Your Friend and Sister in Christ,

A new Journey

slider3 topWelcome to a new Journey
The Lord is good, he keeps blessin and teaching.
Now living in Harrisburg, PA and its beauty.

But lets start from the beginning how did this all really start. Back in 2010 It begins with a conversation with a man by the name of Randy Clark.  He was the main speaker at the conference I go to every year called the Holy Spirit Conference.  Now having gone 13 years and learning and growing in the Lord; God had more plans for me.  Little did I know....  After a few minutes with Randy God was going to change my life FOREVER!

After 2.5 years of prayer and guidance of mentors in my life.  I decided to take this big leap of faith.  In December I told my friends and family that I was suppose to move to Harrisburg, PA to be trained up and sent out to do ministry.  But when?  When was I suppose to go....  The thought was that I would leave and be in school by fall.  But God opened up an opportunity to move to Aberdeen SD as a precursor and entry level move per say.  Yes, I was terrified of moving out of my comfort zone of Sioux Falls, SD.  The year prior I had prayed "Oh God please don't ever have me live in such a way that I would need to lean on you for every prevision; that I would have to walk a life of faith in you.  That is for those who are great ministers, who know what their doing. That surely isn't for me, I couldn't do that.  Well, now your probably laughing.... a year later, even more on fire for the Lord and didn't think twice about moving.  I was excited!  What I did pray a couple weeks before I moved to Aberdeen was, "God moving to Harrisburg, PA sorta scares me so if there is any way to make a more smoother transition/take a baby step move somewhere else that would be great.  That week I headed up Aberdeen SD to visit my really good friends Pastor Bob and Diane Myers.  While visiting for a second time one of the worship band members suggested I move to Aberdeen; after I picked up drum sticks and jammed with them a little while.    He said (note: he didn't know my name)  SIOUX FALLS NEEDS TO MOVE HERE AND DRUM FOR US.....!!!! Then various others chimed in at diff. times making the same comment to leadership in the church. Thus within one week God opened the door for a job interview and a job and I moved there in 7 days!!!!!!!!  God knows us, he knows how to help us threw those BIG doors when our flesh looks at it with big eyes.  So that was a great time... growing closer to God and friends.  Those 2.5 months prepped me emotionally, physically and spiritually for a new life with the Lord; in constantly seeking Him and leaning on him, he continues to bless me with great friends that I also can lean on and seek guidance from..and prepared me for the 24 hr move to PA.  Now settled in PA, a roommate to come the last wk of this month and school starting Sept. 3rd I Praise God for His provisions!!!!!!!!!!

Looking forward to what God has in store.  until next time, blessins,
In His Ministry,
